Very uncharacteristic of me to icon something that is not fandom or stock, but I felt the compulsion yesterday to make Olympics icons.

Nastia Liukin, Micheal Phelps, Shawn Johnson, Misc.

1-11 are the best. Although I can't help but wonder, how did u get the swirly sparkling effect on the Nastia icons from 12-15? They are awesome. I've been trying to find an icon tutorial for that.

Thank you! And I use various textures to get the swirly effect. For example, I used this texture by the_justiner on #12 and this texture by sanami276 on 13-15. Basically, I just pasted them into another layer on the icon, made them black and white, and then set the layer to screen so it only shows the white swirls. :o) Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
